Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting gained prominence on TV when she became Alex in the third and final seasons on One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured on episodes of One Tree Hill which helped propel her debut album in 2012 into Top 20 in the Billboard 200. The follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The last decade saw she appeared on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and various TV programs. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to music from the country genre and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. However, she began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. Gaston spots on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the recurring part in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season, 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 as Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Give Up. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut full-length album Jana Kramer. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She continued acting in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. The second album of Kramer, Thirty One, was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's album chart and number ten in the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing in fourth place. Also, she scored an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
